Ten Favorite Products & Accessories For The Average Gun Junkie

Writing an article like this can be an overwhelming task once you realize how many products there actually are for firearms. However, in two days of research, these are a few products I thought complimented the average gun junkie's interest. Whether you’re shopping for your next build, a novice shooter just starting off or simply creating a Christmas list for the gun lover in your life, you’re sure to find something that peaks your interest. And, if you're really into guns, you know this doesn't even touch the tip of the iceberg. This fact sort of humbles and reminds you just how many passionate enthusiasts share a simplistic love of firearms.

1. Blackhole Magwell

Everyone wants smooth magazine transitions but without the cost of an expensive comp gun. Reptilia has managed to create a slim, very affordable option for the everyday Glock lover.  MSRP: $23

2. Dot Mount Lower Co-Witness

The DOT Mount by Reptilia is a lightweight, slim-line mounting co-witness solution for a variety of red dot optics. They come in a variety of heights, mounting options and two different colors. Also sold in the clear anodized version is sold exclusively by Q at LiveQordie.com. It aids in elevating red dot optics you may have a difficult time finding co-witnesses for. The DOT Mount attaches to any M1913 Picatinny rail, and offers lower 1/3 co-witness with standard AR15-style back-up sights.
MSRP: Varies between $95 and $115

3. Zenitco Official Perst-3/4 Lasers

These tactical laser attachments are similar to EOTechs civilian version ATPIAL-C Target Laser but for a fraction of the cost. They are lightweight, easy to use and a great addition to any build. Zenitco offers many accessories and attachments for AK variants. If anyone knows AK’s, it’s the Russians, and these guys do a great job. To find a U.S. dealer and domestic shipping, don’t forget to click their “where to buy” tab.
MSRP: $399 - $499 (as opposed to EOTech’s $1400)

4. Hera Arms Triarri PCK

Everyone has probably heard of CAA’s MCK’s but if you want something your friends don’t have, check out Hera’s new Triarii. This is a Glock conversion kit as well but offers a fresh look for any tactical Glock lover. Hera also offers many other products worth checking out such as their CQR front grips, window AR mags and HK accessories. To read more visit: https://www.hera-usa.com/products

5. Hiperfire's Competition Trigger

The market is continuing becoming more saturating with drop in triggers, but if you’re looking for a highly-rated trigger with a unique look, try one of Hiperfire’s competition triggers. This single-stage trigger offers a crisp, clean trigger break with very little travel and a reset you can feel and hear. Shop direct or brown the many dealers that offer their products, such as Brownells.

7. Decibullz Percussive Shooting Filters

Decibullz ear protection works just like regular earplugs. That is, they block harmful sound levels by simply taking up space in your ears. But, what sets them apart is their filters detect the peak sound pressure of gunshots and explosions and suppress them to safe levels with a noise reduction rating of 31dB. They don’t require any batteries and are surprisingly affordable. With hot water, you can shape them and re-mold them to fit anyone’s ears.
MSRP: $74.99

8. StormWerkz Stock Adapters

Do you ever see a cool gun photo and wonder how they created such a work of art? Well, it’s companies like StormWerkz that make it happen. With their endless inventory of parts, you’re sure to find anything you need to fulfill your build goals. One of my favorite products is their stock adapter for a variety of firearm models. With the help of their adapters, you can essentially attach any fixed or folding stock you can think of.
